Dew Phaosoung

 

Dew has been supporting Nautical Details before this company even existed,  he started working with Margarita and her former partner back in 1990 detailing boats in Mamaroneck New York, ever since then he has supported our crew on and off full time depending on the dimensions of the project we have on our hands. Currently Dew is working at the Tide Mill Yacht Basin in RYE New York, one of our biggest customers on the tri-state area.

His roots lay in Bangkook, Thailand but now residenced in Milford, CT Dew's firts jobs had to do with painting indoor and outdoor (that's one of the reasons he became so skilled with the varnish brush) but ever since he got the opportinity to work on boats, he devoted most part of his adulthood in becoming an expert in the marina industry where he got startet in the early 90's three years before than his younger brother Kousonh. Dew has become an expert on building and re-building, repairing, cusmotizing, detailing and refinishing boats, and has gottenthe Awlgrip Certification for Fiberglass / Gelcoat Reapair.

He has being with us in so many big jobs, for example the Knot@Work a 76' Montecarlo 2013 that comes with a huge flybridge and lots of teak  everywhere; last year he came to Florida in the winter with our crew and performed an incredible job refinishing tables, chairs, hand rails, cleaning teak decks  among other tasks and leaving the name of the company very high.

It is his dedication, performance and determination what makes him different worker, his drive to always deliver a good job. Of course most of the motivation comes from his family; father of two teen girls he finds encouragement necessary to go out there on the field every day and rock every project he set his mind on.

In his free time Dew enjoys to spend time with his little ones and to be in the outdoors, specially the marine atmosphere.
