Massive mildew disinfection and wood restoring on this lovely sailboat.

A broken bilge pump and water slowly entering the boat combined with the fact that the owner had to go over seas for several weeks and nobody watching the boat, resulted in major growth of mildew and veneer peeling of the bulkheads. Our Nautical Details crew had to run a ozone generator for hours to make sure we killed all the mildew before we could enter the boat to clean and disinfect. After the cleaning we removed the portholes and trims to access the damaged bulkheads. Sanded all areas flush an used filler for the voids. We decided to apply new veneer/ marine teak plywood over the entire bulkheads around the portholes to ensure the same color and texture of the teak veneer. In addition we had to apply several coats of new varnish and reinstalled the polished port holes again.
